So what’s the box?
A custom-modeled pizza box, original design, no real-brand marks. During a challenge, artists hide it somewhere in their render. It doesn’t have to win anything, it just has to be in the shot. Everyone who does ends up in the pizza video.

The Gauntlet of Gods box
This is the official-unofficial box: the model and logo art everyone hides in their Gauntlet of Gods entry. It’s an original design with no real-brand marks on it, so it never puts your submission at risk under Clint’s no-licensed-IP rule. Each challenge cycle it gets re-skinned with that cycle’s own logo; this one carries Gauntlet of Gods. Flip the box over and you’ll find every past cycle stickered on the bottom, the whole run, in one place.
How to get it
Come hang out on the Create with Clint Discord. During the challenge you’ll find the box on the Pizza thread and in the Challenge Resources / Assets channel. The newest box is always pinned there.
You can also grab it straight from here. Same files, current cycle: HD and SD, each with .glb and .fbx plus textures. A CREDITS.txt is in the zip.

How to join
Order up: your pizza box render, in the montage.
You don’t have to place in the challenge to be in the video.

Build your entry
Download Clint’s official template from createwithclint.com and follow the challenge tech specs. Make it exactly like you would if this sub-challenge didn’t exist.

Add the community pizza box
Join the Create with Clint Discord and grab the box there. It has to be visible somewhere on screen (hidden in the set or right in frame). It cannot be off-screen or cropped out. Only the GoG box gets you in the full montage. Your own box design still counts, it just lands in Honorable Mentions.

Submit to the real challenge
Submit to Clint’s official challenge before its deadline. Dates change every cycle, so check the Schedule and Clint’s site.

Send it to me
DM me on Discord, or tag me in the Pizza thread. Give me the render at the highest quality you have. I don’t grab renders on my own. If you don’t message me, you’re not in the montage.

Tell me your credit
Give me the exact display name you want on screen. If you change it, or you want your render pulled, tell me before the window closes.

That’s it
All that work, for something real: your render goes up in the montage alongside every other artist who joined in, cementing your entry in Pizza Sub-Challenge history. Goes up after each challenge, in the Discord and on the montage playlist.
To be added you have to reach me directly: DM me on Discord or @ me in the Pizza thread. I can’t include a render I was never sent.
Where your render lands
Three ways this goes.
Main Montage
Hide the GoG box in your render, submit it to Clint on time, and tag me before the Top 100 livestream. You’re in the official montage, with a second highlight reel just for the pizzas.
Heads up: I might reach out if I can’t spot your box myself while editing.
Honorable Mentions
- Didn’t submit your render in time, but it features the GoG box
- Made a duplicate render with the box added, not submitted to Clint
- You made your own pizza box, or there’s just pizza somewhere in the shot. That’s been fine since day one. It still goes in Honorable Mentions.
No secondary highlight reel, but you’re still in the video.
Not eligible
- Used a Domino’s or other real-brand pizza box
- Didn’t include the box or any reference to pizza
These conditions are subject to change if community feedback is clear. I poll the Discord’s “Pizza Council” for adjustments each challenge.
What is this?
How this started.
“No seriously, what the hell is going on? Pizza?”
“Yes, pizza. Yes, it’s serious. Yes, I built a website.”
It started as one dumb joke.
Clint Jones, known as Pwnisher, began hosting 3D art challenges.
One of these challenges, an artist thought it would be funny to place a pizza box in their render.
Other artists thought it was also funny, and copied them.
Suddenly, many artists are hiding boxes in their renders.
This absurdity is captured on YouTube. A montage, with a highlight reel, revealing the pizza boxes.
I showed up, and nobody was in charge.
I had been participating in a few challenges at this point. Eternal Ascent was announced, and I had committed to switching from Maya to Blender for the first time.
My submission was nearly finished when I discovered a pizza thread buried in the challenge’s Discord channels. Everyone was hiding boxes, for some reason?
I joined in on the random fun, excited to be part of a sub-community’s video montage.
But no one had volunteered to actually make it.
So I did what any sane, responsible community member would do.
I secretly collected everyone’s final renders. And I edited a montage together. I uploaded it to YouTube and shared it with the sub-community.
The feedback was positive. I had enjoyed editing it. So I asked a risky question.
Should I do this again next challenge?
The answer was an outstanding “yes!”
The joke grew lore.
I have four pizza video compilations on my channel. The joke became a meme.
And for some reason, I rendered a 2–3 minute animated sequence for the intro. It featured robots, a pizza man. Lore…?
The sub-community loved it.
Apparently there’s a website.
Another challenge is here, another pizza thread established.
A new no-IP rule results in a custom modeled and textured pizza box, effectively retiring the Domino’s box.
And now apparently we have a website.
All because of pizza.
Top 100
They hid the box and still placed.
Artists who put the community pizza box in their render and made Clint’s Top 100 or Top 5. By challenge, newest first.
Gauntlet of Gods

HoldimProvae made Top 100 and Top 5, and Kocy made Top 100, but both used a Domino’s box, not eligible for the pizza side. LostWaldo made Top 100 with the real box.
Dream Sequence
33 artists · 870 boxes hidden
Diss placed 5th overall in the challenge. Their pizza render was a slice, not the box, so on the pizza side it went to Honorable Mentions. Still, 5th.
Rampage Rally
28 artists · 47 boxes hidden
No Top 5 finish among the pizza-box entries this cycle.
Chasm’s Call
33 artists · 46 boxes hidden
HoldimProvae placed 4th and TiNKLe placed 5th in the challenge.
